California Proposition 65
Last updated: August 6, 2026
California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as Proposition 65, requires businesses to provide warnings when products may expose California consumers to certain substances identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
The list maintained under Proposition 65 includes hundreds of naturally occurring and synthetic substances, including trace elements that may naturally occur in soil, plants, minerals, marine environments, and botanical ingredients.
A Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean that a product is unsafe or violates any applicable safety standard.
Our quality standards
At Biotiful Life, product quality and consumer safety are among our highest priorities.
We work with carefully selected manufacturing partners who operate under recognised quality systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
Raw materials and finished products undergo quality testing, including testing for contaminants such as heavy metals where appropriate, as part of our quality assurance process.
Certain products, including our Omega-3 formula, are manufactured using advanced purification technologies, including molecular distillation, to support high standards of purity and quality.
Product warnings
Where required under applicable California law, Proposition 65 warnings will be displayed on the relevant product page and, where applicable, on the product packaging before purchase.
Not every product requires a Proposition 65 warning.
